Award Winning Dentistry
We are proud to announce that Dr. Norling has been awarded Fellowship in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, an honor achieved by only 81 dentists world wide. She is one of only four dentists in Minnesota to become an Accredited Fellow.
Accredited Fellow is the highest credential earned in the American Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD).
In addition to meeting rigorous requirements of the Accredited member, an accredited fellow has successfully completed cosmetic dentistry that meets the Accreditation standard of excellence set forth by the American Board of Cosmetic Dentistry. By successfully completing this process, an Accredited Fellow demonstrates a continued ability and sustained commitment to deliver excellence in cosmetic dentistry.
On May 11, 2002 – Nancy Norling, DDS won a Gold and Bronze Medal in the 8th Annual American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) National Smile Gallery Competition, sponsored by Americus Dental Labs, Inc., for exhibiting outstanding skill in cosmetic dental procedures. Dr. Norling won her awards for work in the Indirect Restorations Category. Her cases were selected at the organization’s 18th Annual Scientific Session in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Dr. Norling was a three time medalist in the 2003 International Smile Gallery Competition in Orlando, FL., a four time medalist in the 2004 International Smile Competition in Vancouver, British Columbia, and was awarded 3 medals (2 gold and 1 bronze) at the 2005 meeting in Nashville ,TN. At the 2006 meeting in San Diego, CA., Dr. Norling proudly accepted 4 new medals in the Indirect Restoration category. At these events, more than 2000 cosmetic dental professionals from around the world came to participate in the AACD’s Annual Scientific Session.
Dr. Norling has been named by her peers as a “Top Cosmetic Dentist” in the MPLS St. Paul Magazine every year since the program began. Two of Dr. Norling’s cases have been featured on the cover of the Journal of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
In 2017, Dr. Norling received the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Humanitarian Award for her humanitarian efforts at home and across the globe. She says it is the “proudest and most humbling moment of my Dental career…”
